Philip Elliott is an Irish-Canadian novelist and screenwriter. His debut novel, Nobody Move, won a Crime Writers Canada Award of Excellence and his second, Porno Valley, was a finalist for a Shamus Award. American Fury is his third, forthcoming with No Exit Press in February 2027.
In 2013 Philip was selected for Coverage Ink’s Get Repped Now for his TV pilot that planted the seed of American Fury. His horror feature script won Best Screenplay at Vancouver Horror Festival. He has been editing professionally for a decade, and founded the literary journal Into the Void, which ran for several years and netted two awards in that time. He has worked for various entities based in Los Angeles, analyzing screenplays for feedback or development. Currently, he edits US legal transcripts and authors’ manuscripts at the developmental level.
Born in Ireland, Philip has lived in Australia and Canada, where he became a citizen, before returning with his wife to Dublin in 2026.
